Sunnyside Boy Killed by Rifle Shot.

Guy MOORE, the fifteen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam T. MOORE, of Sunnyside, was killed shortly before noon Monday by the accidental discharge of the rifle he was carrying.
A party of men and boys were out hunting and young MOORE started to climb a tree carrying his rifle with him. In some manner the gun discharged, the bullet striking the young man in the head. He fell from the tree and was taken home in a sleigh, but died on the way.
S.T. MOORE, the father, is well known. He is head man for J.F. BADSKY at the Santa Fe stock yards in Lawrence and is also well known as an auctioneer. When the word reached him he secured a physician and then called at his home to learn the condition of the boy and was told that he was dead.
