Glen ROSS, who was injured in an accident several weeks ago was taken to his home last week and is gradually improving.

Mrs. Hary N. HILL of Pittsburg, Pa., and her brother, Edward M. HALEY of Cincinnati, Ohio, have been visiting the past week with their Aunt, Mrs. Charles BRADFORD, and their uncle, Charles BRETT. Mrs. HILL will be remembered as Sara HALEY, who attended here junior year of high school here.

Mr. and Mrs. George HUPE, Mrs. V. C. RAINES, Mrs. C.L. HARDER, Mrs. B.L. FOWLER, Miss Demares GOEPFERT, Miss Mary SHIRLEY and Misses Etta and Nora ELSWICK attended a meeting of the Eastern Star at Lawrence last Friday evening.
