Valley Grove Items by Charlotte.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard SNOW moved the latter part of the week to the Mrs. Eleanor CHAMPION farm here. Everett GODFREY of Lawrence assisted Mr. SNOW.

We learn the farm where Richard PETRIE has lived the past two years, known as the RUSSELL farm, has been sold to Mr. HECK of the Midland Neighborhood.

Mr. and Mrs. Clyde LEDERER and family have resided here for several year on Mr. HECK's farm will move in the spring to Dunanant to a farm they have purchased.

Mrs. Max ROLIN and Mrs. Marcel ROLIN were hostesess to the Neighborhood Circle club at their home Thursday to an all day meeting of the club. A bountiful covered dish dinner was enjoyed by all present. Mrs. Russell STEWART was a guest.

Jim HOLLADAY has been confined to his bed for the past four weeks.

Mr. and Mrs. Don BAKER of Lawrence were recent visitors of her sister, Mrs. Russell STEWART and husband, Mrs. BAKER has been employed at Haskell for years.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold GARNER are back from Denver to spend the holidays with relatives.

Tom LOMBARD brought his parents Mr. and Mrs. William LOMBARD back from Texas for Christmas here.
