Beth HOUSH, student in Washburn University, Topeka, spent the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy HOUSH.
Thos. SHARKEY was taken Sunday morning to Christ's hospital in the Gabel ambulance after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage. His condition was reported critical.
Mrs. Leslie WAGGONER spent a few days this week with her sister, Mrs. Chas. HAWK near Topeka and Mrs. Ben WEINBERG visited her daughter, Mrs. LaVerne GARREN in Topeka.
Mrs. Russel MONTGOMERY and Bruce went to Mississippi, Friday for a visit with Cpl. Russel MONTGOMERY, stationed at Camp Van Dorn.
Mrs. C.R. BROCK, her daughter, Irene and granddaughter Mary Jean ROGERS, who are in Emporia for the school year were home for the weekend.
Carol McCOY who has completed here academic nurse's training at Kansas University entered the University hospital in Kansas City, Wednesday for the completion of the course.
Mrs. Helen PEARSON and Cpl. Chas. PEARSON spent the weekend with Mrs. Martha DOCKHORN.
Miss Ella LARNER who teaches in Wellington and Miss Dehlia LARNER in the Wichita school spent the weekend with their mother, Mrs. Emma LARNER.
Mr. and Mrs. F.O. ADAMS of Atchison, spent the weekend with his brother and wife, Mr. and MRs. Herman ADAMS of Kansas City, Mo., at their country home south of town.
