Valley Falls.

Eugene ALLEN will farm the CORBET place this year.

The funeral of Mrs. WISE will be held at the Lutheran church on Friday.

The saw mill is almost ready for work. The ground in front of the mill is covered with logs.

Marion DODGE, agent for the Standard Oil Company here, keeps his four-in-hand on the trot every day.

Adam HULL is moving from the farm lately purchased by Max GLASSEL east of town to the old FOX place two miles north-west of town.

Marion BROWN has bought a 160 acre farm four and one-half miles south of the city. He is building a fine house on it and will move out as soon as it is completed.

Levy ALLEN has invented and made a model of a rotary engine. It is a fine piece of mechanical work, and runs as smooth as a top. The design is an original idea of the inventor.
