Colfax Harman, of Valley Falls, was in town Wednesday.
Ed NEVIN is proud of his second son, that arrived Monday.
A daughter has taken up her abode at the home of Mr. and Mrs. WORST.
Jarrett SMITH was before the pension board at Oskaloosa last Wednesday.
Matt EDWARDS and C.H. STEEPER made a business trip to Valley Falls recently.
Mrs. Anna ROYER and son, of Ozawkie are visiting relatives and friends at this place.
H. JOHNSON a cousin of J.P. HERRIES is spending some time among relatives here.
JIm EDMONDS left Monday for Jackson county where he has leased a farm from the Indians.
E.S. BOWMAN received a telegram lately announcing the death of his brother at Plymouth, Ill.
Mr. BARRELL has sold his farm two miles south of town to E.A. CAIN, and will move to Missouri.
Charles LAING, a former resident of this vicinity now of Iowa, is visiting his father and other relatives.
Miss Evangeline RANKIN, a niece of Dr. and C.M. RANKIN arrived here last Wednesday from Utah and will live in the Doctors family home.
