J.R. ROOT was doing business in St. Joe. last week.
F.M. GROVER moved from his farm back to Topeka Tuesday.
Mrs. SHRADER of McLouth was visiting relatives here last week.
Born to Mr. and Mrs. H.L. SCHMIDT, Sunday, March 19th, a son.
Jesse ROOT and Ernest KRAMER departed for North Dakota Tuesday morning.
Arthur and Henry KEINTZ, sons of Jacob KEINTZ, left Monday for Denver, Colorado.
Mrs. J.M. SHAFFER, of Topeka, is visiting her mother, Mrs. RICHARDS this week.
Johnny ARMSTRONG departed last week for Nebraska, where he will work this summer.
A couple of Oskaloosa officials were down last week, and nabbed a traveling saloon that was passing this way.
J.D. GARDNER bought a load of hogs here Tuesday. He will make it a point to buy here this summer regular.
Messrs. RADER, CONANT, BROWN, and EMMET, all of Oskaloosa have been carrying away some of your ducks lately. Come again boys.
