Johnnie LEE is laid up with the measles this week.

Mrs. Cora DURBIN's new house is nearing completion.

Up-to-date millinery goods at KUNKLE & CARSON's, Perry, Ks.

Sam JONES returned to his home in Tonganoxie last Tuesday.

Miss Margaret BRETT is again employed in Abe HAY's store.

J.H. THOMPSON made a business trip to Topeka last Saturday.

J.W. COLLEY returned last Monday, from his trip through Arkansas.

Born to John WILLIAMS Jr., and wife, a fine boy, Thursday, March 23rd.

Mrs. Harvey KELLEN, of Thomponville, is reported as dangerously ill.

M.C.BOYLE of Newman whiled away a few hours in Perry last Sunday.

Geo. FOWLER, of Kansas City, is visiting relatives in and near Perry this week.

Mrs. Annie L. DIGGS state librarian, visited her husband and son in town this week.

Mrs. Emmet COPLEY was visiting relatives in Topeka the latter part of the week.

Dept. Sheriff KYLE of Oskaloosa, was doing business here last Thursday and Friday.

Bert CHAPMAN and wife of Thompsonville were guests of J. ALLEN and wife last Sunday.

The new elevator is almost done which makes another great improvement in our little burg.

Frank HART, who has been teaching at Woodstock came home last Friday; his school having closed at that place.

Miss Emily HULT and Mrs. Ruthie WILSON came up last Saturday from Lawrence, and visited over Sunday with Jasper WILSON and family.

Mrs. H.M. WISE and children, who came down last week to visit, are reported quite sick with the measles; at the home of Mrs. LAKEY on the Dunderville farm.
