Mr. HAYS who lives on the WELLS place, has been on the sick list the past week.
Bobby Lee CLARK celebrated his birthday Sunday at his grandmother Clark's with a lovely birthday cake with 8 pretty candles for Bobby to blow out. A very pleasant day was spent together.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry MULLANAX have been at the county farm for twenty years and have been such good neighbors and friends that we can say, we are very sorry to lose them from our community. They will be moving March 1st to their own home.
Feb. 25.
Mr. and Mrs. S. TAYLOR of Baldwin visited at the home of Mrs. Tena CLARK the past Sunday.
About 200 friends and neighbors met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry MULLANAX Friday evening, for a going away party for them. We are sorry to lose these good people from our community.
A birthday dinner was enjoyed Sunday for Lewis SLAWSON at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ferg SLAWSON. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Harold EASTER, Ruel SLAWSON and family, all of Topeka.
Mr. and Mrs. Lewis WARREN expect to move some time tis week to Denison.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert GRAMSE visited Sunday with Charles Gramse and wife of Perry. In the afteroon, Mr. and Mrs. MILIKIN of Kansas City came up, taking back with them their son Richard, who had been spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Gramse.
