Leland N. McCall.
Leland N. McCALL, of Shreveport, La., a former resident of Perry and Lawrence died October 12 after a long illness. He was born and reared in Perry and lived for a while in Lawrence.
Funeral services were held in Topeka.
Mr. McCall retired in 1959 after 47 years of service with United Pacific and Kansas City Southern railroads. He was superintentdent of signal constructional and maintenance.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cecile McCall of the home; two brothers, Tom McCall of 404 Morrow Ct. and Norris McCall of Clear Lake Park, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Francis McCREIGHT of Anaheim, Calif., and Letha THIRY of Everton, Ark.
