Mrs. Florilla E. SHANK, 86, died in a Topeka rest home March 24, after a long illness.
Born January 20, 1875, in Ohio, she lived most of her life in Meriden. She was a member of the Meride Methodist Church and of the Royal Neighbors of America.
Surviving are four sons: Chester Shank, 1808 Clay, Lloyd, 1406 Lower Silver Lake Road, Craven of Wichita, and Frank Shank of San Jose, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Frank BONEWITZ of Meriden, Mrs. Winfred RUESE of Waverly, Ohio and Mrs. Bertha HENRY of the state of Washington; a brother, Sam SMITH of Kinsley, and five grandchildren.
Rev. Ray HODGELL conducted the service Monday. Burial was in the family lot at St. John, Kansas.
