Harvest Hands Scarce.
Bert FAIRCHILD received a letter from Ollie TOWNSEND stating that he and the balance of the Jefferson county boys who went with him, were at Abilene, and that they were getting $1.50 per day and lots of work.
There is plenty of work here at home, farmers offering $1.25 per day for farm hands here this week and were unable to get help at those wages.
