Old Payton RODERICK died at the poor farm Sunday from a stroke of paralysis. The old man has been a dependent on the county for a number of years and had come to be regarded as almost one of the land marks of the poor farm. Ed PATTERSON laid him to rest in his last home--the home to which everyone whether millionaire or pauper holds a warranty deed, and in which we must all one day reside. Peace to his dust.
