Mrs. Dave DICK was brought home from the University of Kansas Hospital this morning, July 25. Mrs. Marian COULSON of Kansas City has come to the home to assist in her care.
Corp. Richard NICHOLS who has been home on furlough since July 1st, from Washington is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John NICHOLS at Oskaloosa and friends at McLouth where the Nichols formerly resided, left July 17th to return to Fort Riley for further assignment.
Mrs. Harold BRADFORD went to Kansas City Tuesday to be with her sister, Mrs. Fred MEYER who is reported quite ill.
Howard ALEXANDER the third son of Leonard Alexander a former McLouth citizen has been a guest of Mrs. W.R. HARDING and served in the service as an aerial photographer. He took pre-invasion pictures of ememy islands and Japan proper.
Mrs. W.R. HARDING plans to go to Kansas City Sunday to attend the birthday dinner honoring her daughter, Mrs. Mildred SMITH of Olathe, Kansas.
