What a coincidence--The Lawrence Journal-World of 3 Oct. 2007 listed the death of Merrill L. Stebbins, age 84, of Perry, died 1 Oct. in Topeka. He was an auctioneer for 54 years. He is survived by wife, Georgie (Petrie) Stebbins, a dau., 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Petrie--Stebbins.
Miss Georgia PETRIE and Mr. Meril STEBBINS of Perry were married Saturday, September 7, at Bonner Springs.
Mrs. Stebbins graduated from Oskaloosa High School in the class of '46 and has been a most pleasing waitress in the Elm Cafe throughout the summer. Mr. Stebbins operates a grocery store in Perry where they will make their home.
