Miss Alice Jean STEWART, granddaughter of Mrs. Fannie SHRADER, Kansas City, was united in marriage to Mr. Howard V. OLSON, of Maiden Rock, Wis., at 4 o'clock, Sunday, Oct. 13 at the Quiodaro Christian church with Rev. Cecil MURROW officiating using the single ring ceremony.
Mrs. Curtis Clark sang, "One Alone" with Mrs. Edward Antheron presiding at the organ. The altar was decorated with ferns, oak leaves and mums. The bride wore a street length dress with brown accessories and carried a bouquet of yellow mums.
Mrs. Wm. Crum, the bride's attendant, wore a green crepe dress with black accessories and carried a bouquet of pink Pom Pom.
Mrs. Fannie Shrader wore a flower crepe dress with corsage of white baby mums.
Mr. Leonard Olson acted as best man for his brother, Mr. Charles Ready and Mr. Wm. Crum lit the candles and acted as ushers. A reception was held immediatley after the ceremony in the basement of the church; assisting with the reception were Miss Irma Lee Lobb, Miss Alice McPherson and Mrs. Everett Melvin. The three tier wedding cake was decorated with a miniature bride and groom.
Mr. and Mrs. Olson left October 15 for Maiden Rock, where they will make their home.
Out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Sharder, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Shrader, Mr. and Mrs. Oce Shrader, Mr. and Mrs. James Lobb and family, Mr. Alvin Rise from McLouth and Oskaloosa, Kas., and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyde Cundiff from Olathe, Kansas.
