Mr. and Mrs. W.A. WELLMAN, Mr. and Mrs. D.E. McDONALD and Mr. and Mrs. H.C. ZOOK, of the official board of Wellman church attended quarterly conference at the McLouth Methodist Church Sunday evening. Dr. Ryan superintendent of the Kansas City District presided.

Lawrence WARD was taken to Lawrence Memorial hospital last week, suffering from infection caused by stepping on a rusty nail.

Mr. and Mrs. James R. EVANS who purchased the property of Mrs. Mable EDMONDS arrived Aug. 11th at the home.
