M/Sgt. and Mrs. B.D. McDONALD announce the birth of a daughter, Cheryl Darlene, at Ft. Leavenworth, December 9, 1950. Weight 6 lbs, 7oz. The McDonald's have another child, Mark, age 2.
Sgt. McDonald who is with the 24th Div. in Korea worte home folks on Dec. 30 that the U.N. forces were awaiting the next move of the Chinese and while some though they would be able to make their escape from Korea most of the troops thought their chances pretty slim.
