Sam McCALL was taken to a Topeka hospital Tuesday where he underwent an operation yesterday for the removal of an eye. His condition is reported as satisfactory.

Miss Helen Louise SHIRLEY was one of the members of the graduating class of Christs Hospital School of Nursing, who received their diplomas last Thursday evening. The class was the largest ever graduated from the hospital. Miss Shirley has gone to Denver, Colo., for an additional three months training.
