F. E. WILSON was down from Burr Oak, Monday, visiting friends.

Miss Lyle HOAG went to Ionia yesterday for a visit with friends.

Miss Mildred WIGGIN, of Otego was in town between trains Friday.

Mrs. KING of Denver, a sister of Mr. G. H. CASE is in this city this week.

Lester DRESSLAR went to Manhattan Monday morning for a visit with friends.

S. E. HILL and W. M. McCAMMON are in Texas this week on land business.

Wm. PAUL and wife were down from Burr Oak, Monday transacting business.

Fay KNOX was given a birthday party Saturday in honor of her 10th birthday.

Miss Vern SKEELS of Burr Oak visited Sunday with her friend Miss Amelia AABOE.

Arden MITCHELL, of Burr Oak visited his brother, W. R. MITCHELL in this city
last week.

Otis WILCUTTS and wife, of Burr Oak were over Monday transacting business at
the court house.

Misses Stella HART and Alice JOHNSON of Randall spent last week with their
friend, Miss Vera ROSE.

Dr. SLAGLE and wife, of Smith Center were in town yesterday attending the
funeral of Mrs. G. H. CASE.

Miss Grace LEWIS and Mabelle COOK, of Burr Oak attended the dedicatory
exercises of the Y.M.C.A. Sunday.

Misses Bernice STUART and Lottie APPLEBY came down from Burr Oak Sunday to
attend the Y.M.C.A. dedication.

Tom MAY went to Smith Center yesterday for a visit with friends.

Miss Alice DAILY, of Beliot, came up Friday for a visit at the LUTZ home.

Miss Maggie CALAHAN, of Burr Oak, visited at the S. I. McLEAN home over
Sunday.

Street Commissioner John FULTON has done some needed work on the streets the
past two weeks.

A. H. DOUD was down from Otego Monday, paying taxes and squaring himself with
the Monitor.

Miss Lena MAXWELL, of Webber, returned home Monday after a few days visit
with her friend Miss Ruth McLEAN.

Frank HOYT, assistant postmaster at Phillipsburg, was down Sunday. Frank says
they need rain badly in Phillips county.
