Still seeking info about my BIG brick wall.

BINGHAM, Elijah "L.", b. abt 1835 in either VA or KY. Found in Floyd
Co, KY household of David ARNETT and Lydia GULLETT in 1850 as a 15 yr
old farm laborer.

Married GULLETT, Lucinda on 7/22/1852 in Morgan Co, KY. Lucinda is
prob. a cousin of Lydia.

By 1857, Elijah "L." BINGHAM and Lucinda Gullett Bingham are in Jackson
Co, MO (Kansas City area) and in 1860 census are found in the household
of Joseph Regan of Jackson Co, along with their infant daughter, Nancy.

Elijah served in the MO militia under Capn. James Gault in Shoemaker's
52nd Eng. Co. during Civil War.

By 1870, the BINGHAMS are in Monticello Township, Johnson Co, KS with 3
sons: Albert Sidney (b. 1863 in MO), William (b. 1867 KS) and John
Henry (b, 1869 KS). Nancy is no longer listed and must have died abt
1865.

By 1880 census, two more sons had been added to family: Joseph (b.
1873 KS) who was a Pinkerton agent as an adult and Elijah L. Jr. (b.
1875 KS).

Elijah Bingham served as constable in Shawnee, KS in 1871 and Coffee\y
Co, KS in 1872 per election papers in my possession.

In mid 1880's Elijah and Lucinda Bingham took the family to Oregon, but
decided they didn't like it there and came back to KS where Elijah and
Lucinda died in about 1889 within days of each other of pneumonia, most
likely in Johnson Co. Have been unable to locate death records or
burial of either one.

Any help with this family greatly appreciated.
(Note: This is NOT Elijah "S." Bingham, b. 1843 in KY who m. Lucinda
Asher.)
