This is a correction to the will of William Frank Burke. The will belongs
to his son, William R. Burke. Sorry about that. I guess I'm just tired.

In the 1930 census William Frank Burke is 74 years old. His wife, Mary is
67. William R is 28.

So, I'm looking for death dates and cemetery names for William F., William
R., and Mary Burke.

I apologize for this confusion. It's been a few months since I've looked at
the above records. Lately, I've been spending my time searching for records
in Ireland on my g-grandparents, Michael J. Burke and Catherine nee Martin.

Thanks for understanding.

To Carol and Lois,

Hi and thanks for the replies. The relatives I have in Johnson county, Ks
are on my mother's paternal and maternal sides.

Mom's paternal grand parents were John NALL & Susan Emma Mooney. I have the
headstones on these. BTW, Nall Avenue is named after my g-grandfather, John
Nall. The old Nall home is in Overland Park. I just learned that it had
burned and was being restored. Does anybody have the news article on that?
Apparently, the current owners are restoring the house.

Mom's maternal grandparents were Michael John Burke and Catharine Martin,
both born in Ireland. I also have there headstones and cemetery plot
records.

Lois and/or Carol, I could use a look up for Michael and Catharine's son and
daughter-in-law. They are:

William Frank Burke and Mary Haire. I have William's will that was dated on
August 6, 1954, Johnson county, KS, but I'm not sure when he and Mary died
and where they are buried. They are not in the same cemetery burial section
as Michael and Catharine at St. Joseph's. William grew champion peaches.
Oh, my gosh, I just realized something ... William was born in Iowa in 1856.
He was almost 100 when he passed.

Thanks so much,

Carol in CA

Yes, the Overland Park Library and the Olathe Library has a Johnson County
Cementery Book. The index is listed by last names and page numbers. The
book is set up by Cemetery with the last and first name, (if available the
birth date ) and the death date. Some may even give the lot and plot
numbers. I have used the book a 'lot' of times.

Hi Carol...

The blue book I am talking about in "Johnson County Cemetery Index" and
it is 784 pages of cemetery listings. I've seen it when I was in
Johnson County (several years ago) and it is a wonderful resource.
Perhaps your local library can get it for you to look through by using
interlibrary loan. Seems to me that it was published in about 1985.
