Thanks Dave. I have recently discovered Caroline's will. It is her connection with Clarence Pierce I am trying to research. I think he is my great uncle but I have little information on his side of the family. I am trying to establish a connection between Caroline and Clarence's mother Filena Pierce Perry. My next move is to send for the microfilm of the newspapers in Olathe around 1893. The Kansas State Historical Society has a great interlibrary loan program.
