I'm looking for any information on the family of Michael Timothy McCarthy who
moved to Parsons in 1872. They lived on a farm in Walton Township. Michael
married Ellen Nora McGough in 1879; they were members of St. Patrick's church
in Parsons. Their children were: Leo, Jerome, Julia, Hughborn 1888, Sarah,
Loretta, Justin and Mary.

Hugh married Velma Bollinger, daughter of George and Anna Bollinger in 1917.
Key question for Velma: Did she convert to Catholicism when she married Hugh?

Any information on this family would be most welcome.
