I am trying to find these families in Labette County between 1880 and 1890. The Briggs family were in KS in the 1880 census but the Wilson and Jaques family had not yet moved from ILL. They later joined the Briggs family in Kansas. The Wilson family and the Jaques family were in Indian Territory by 1900. I believe the Briggs family or at least some of them remained in KS. Ira Wilson and Mark Jaques married daughters of D M Briggs in ILL before he moved to Kansas. Ira had a son, Walter Wilson who was living in the Parsons area, I believe in the 1930s and maybe later. If anyone has any information on these families, I would love to hear from you.
