I am researching the following families in Lane county, KS:

REIFSCHNEIDER
Samuel Reifschneider came to Lane co. abt 1902 he was married to Katherine
BAHM in Kutter, Russia 18 Jun 1897. Samuel died 20 Oct 1965 at Dighton (Lane)
KS. Katherine died 18 Nov 1963 at Scott City (Scott) KS. They were my gt gt
grandparents.

Edward Reifschneider was born 22 Dec 1900 at LaCrosse (Rush) KS he married
Lettie Hope THOMAS 10 Apr 1921 at Dighton (Lane) KS. Edward died 9 Jul 1983
at Garden City (Finney) KS. Lettie died 19 Feb 1979 also at Garden City. They
were my paternal grandparents.

THOMAS
Andrew Jackson Thomas came to Lane county with his son also named Andrew
Jackson Thomas but known as "Jack", in the 1880's. They homesteaded there and
the original homestead has stayed in the family. Andrew Jackson Thomas died 6
Aug 1899 and is buried at the homestead. He was born ca 1815 in VA.

Andrew Jackson Thomas "Jack" was born ca 1845 probably in Washington co, VA.
He married Delilah Ann TAYLOR 30 Jun 1870 in Clark co., IN. Jack died Apr
1899 and is buried at the homestead. Delilah was born 13 Jan 1851 in Clark
co. IN She died Apr 1949 and is also buried at the original homestead.

John W. Thomas was born 26 Jan 1873 at Henryville (Clark) IN, he married
Essie PROSE 23 Oct 1895 either in Lane or Ness co. KS. John died 8 Oct 1955
at Dighton,KS. Essie died 16 May 1943, they are both buried at Buda Cemetery
in Ness co., KS

Lettie hope Thomas was their daughter (see REIFSCHNEIDER)

PATTON
John McCall Patton was born 25 Dec 1855 near Cambridge (Guernsey) OH he
married Lillie Cyrena LIMPUS 25 Jan 1885 at Bates co.,MO they came to Lane
co. in 1887. John died 30 Dec 1910 at Dighton,KS. Lillie died 21 Jan 1956 in
Boulder, CO.

Guy Harrison Patton was born 20 Aug 1888 on the family homestead in Lane co.
He married Audrey Merle FRAZIER 14 Sep 1910 at Dighton, KS. Guy died 11 Dec
1962 at Kansas City, KS. Audrey died 26 Feb 1983 also at Dighton. They were
my Great grandparents.

Dale McCall Patton was born 11 Jun 1911 in Lane, co. He married Frances
Rizpah MONTGOMERY on 24 Oct 1930 at Larned (Pawnee) co,KS. Dale died 3 Sep
1983 at Dighton,KS. Frances died 10 Oct 1981 also at Dighton. They were my
maternal grandparents.
