Hello list,

My gr great grandmother, Beatrice E. Murray received her teaching certificate
in Russell Springs. In 1890 she was a teacher at Wiona High School.
She married Samuel M. Burke in 1891 and moved to Colorado in 1893.

An article about her death in Colorado said she was born in KY. Well the 1870
census for KY doesn't list her. So, I know she was in Logan county, maybe she
is listed on the 1870 or 1880 census.
I have no idea who her parents were.

Anyone have any info on Murrays in Russell Springs?
