Mary Casida

Mary R. Casida, 102, of Coffeyville, died Wednesday (July 5, 2000) at Medicalodge
Nursing Home, Coffeyville.

Mrs. Casida was born Sept. 25, 1897, at Topeka, to Wilber and Motier (Plumber)
Mulholland.

She attended country school at Coldwater.

She married George L. Casida on Nov. 19, 1919, at Paola. Mr. Casida preceded
his wife in death on Feb. 19, 1945.

Mrs. Casida was a homemaker.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Coffeyville; American Legion,
Osawatomie; and Rebeka Lodge, Leon.

Survivors include two daughters, Idris Mayfield, Coffeyville, and Wanda
Jeter, Bartlesville; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two
great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George L. Casida; seven brothers,
and two sisters.

Graveside services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation is from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Friday.

Memorials contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, in care of
Graves Funeral Home.
