I sent you an e-mail, but I also wanted to post it on here.
I am a granddaughter of William Howard Harclerode and his second wife Vera
Mae Keller. My mother is Norma Luella (Harclerode) O'Dell, she is Aileen's
sister. My mother was born in 1930. We have been searching for Aileen and
information on my grandfather for years. We have been unsuccessful until
now. It really hurts to hear of her death; we were so hoping to find her
alive. Do you have any information on her, her brother that died (Harclerode),
or William's line back? Do you have photos of Aileen (all ages), her brother,
William, and Anna Belle? If so would it be possible for you to scan and
attach them to an e-mail for us? You don't know how much this would mean
to us. My mother has talked about Aileen for as long as I can remember.
She had met Aileen; when Aileen came to Texas to
see them. We have one letter from Aileen that we have been using the information
to search for her. We went to Montgomery Co.,Kansas searching for her.
The letter she had sent had her living in Coffeyville, Kansas.
All of our family send condolences to your family. Although though we we
had lost contact with her, she was thought of often and deeply loved by
all of us.
