THEIR BUGGY STRUCK BY A CAR.
While Mrs. W. W. WYLIE, Mrs. Mary GRIFFIN and her
granddaughter, Gladys GRIFFIN, were driving east on
Quindaro boulevard near Ninth street in Kansas City,
Kas., at 10:30 o'clock last night, their buggy was struck
by an eastbound Jackson avenue car. Mrs. WYLIE and
Miss GRIFFIN were thrown out and the buggy was
demolished. Mrs. WYLIE received bruises on the left
hip and leg and Miss GRIFFIN received a cut over the
left eye. The horse was badly injured and was shot later.
The women were taken to the home of Mrs. WYLIE,
341 Waverly avenue, where they were treated by a
physician. Their condition is not dangerous. Mrs.
GRIFFIN and her granddaughter live at 2841 Brooklyn
avenue.
