Sam Horn was born in Clark County, AL. He moved to Wayland, Floyd County, KY and worked as a coalminer from 1919 to 1940. His parents were Thomas Clead and Alice Savage. He was married to Garnet Martin and had 8 children. He died on Nov. 6, 1940 in Wayland, KY and his body was shipped to Wellsburg, West Virginia for burial on Nov. 11, 1940. The funeral director was E. P. Arnold of Prestonburg, KY. The death certificate does not give the name of the cemetery nor who handled the body in Wellsburg. Is there a directory that will give the names of funeral directors and their business names so that I might check for a record of his burial place. Any help would be appreciated.
