Actually, I think I am getting somewhere. I did as they asked and got a
court order from a judge in Christian County to release my
great-grandfather's records from Frankfort. I sent that and some documents
proving my relationship to Att(Atwood) Willoughby to Western State and a few
weeks later got a letter in the mail. To my pleasant surprise, it was
apologizing for the delay and assuring me that once the records arrive, they
will send them to me.

I was not told that it was used to plant crops but that there had been
wooden markers and a fire destroyed the markers. I was also told that if I
pre-arranged my visit (it is a state hospital after all) that they would
allow me to come and visit the cemetery.

I will keep you advised when I hear more. I'm about five hours away and am
anxious to make the trip.
