I am searching for the Lewis family. All I had to go on was a prayer card
from the funeral of a Mrs. Virginia L. Lewis. I found this among my mother's
papers after she died. It wasn't until just the other day I noticed the Mrs
on the card. I found her death record and sent for the death certificate.
Lo and behold she was married to my uncle Jacob S. Lewis. She was born in
1904 and died in 1930. The death cert. listed the parents of Virginia and her
father was born in Ireland. It was interesting to me that my uncle was not
the person that gave the info for the death cert. Everytime you find an answer
you wind up with many more questions. I have got to get serious about my
trip to Louisville before it gets too cold.
I would very much appreciate directions to the cemetary. I am not sure
where we will be staying. I want to find a place near downtown I think. If
you have any ideas of places to go and search please let me know. Thanks
