Is this Eizabeth Boone Grant the sister of Daniel Boone and the mother of John Grant, Squire Grant and several others?
Are you certain that she is buried in Fayette County? I presume this was at or near the locatin of Grant's Station? Her sons John and Squire are both VIPs in Northern Kentucky. Grant's Lick in Campbell County is named for John Grant. There is an area on the Licking River about 8 miles south of it's mouth called Grant's Bend. This was the locatin of Errondale, the pantation of Squire Grant. Squire and his children are buried there. I believe John is buried near the mouth of Pond Creek on the Licking River where he once had a plantation. I have speculated for some time that Elizabeth Boone Grant may be buried in one of these two places but cannot prove it.
