Barbara,

I list below what I found for your above referenced subject. I
searched for Wetherton/Weatherton/Whetherton/Wetherington, etc.
and variant surnames in 1870, 1860, & 1850 in KY. I list below a
Brown family that included some of the children's first names and ages
you listed. I'm unsure if this family yields any clues. Perhaps more
research into deeds, marriages, court records needs to be done.
