Rose,

Because of your subject line, I think you may have mistakenly replied
to a previous Newton lookup request. I have corrected it above. The
body of your message has a different surname listed. Please make sure
your subject line reads: CENSUS YEAR/COUNTY/SURNAME. Then, in the
body tell all you know, i.e., birthdates and birthplaces about your
subject. We lookup volunteers need all the help we can get. :-)

I list below what I found for a Gideon that I traced as possibly being
in the same family in 1860, 1870, 1880, 1900 & 1910. If there were
other ISOM/ISON/ISAM surnames on the same page, I included those too.
Also, I list the only Isom HOH in Letcher Co for 1850. There were many
Isom/Ison HOH throughout the different census years with Gideons &
Georges in them. Therefore, further research into deeds, marriages,
and court records should be done.
