Mary Lou,

There is no census in 1857 or 1858. You would need to request 1850
or 1860. What year was Francoise born and where was she born?
Do you know who her parents were? When did she marry Joseph
Ecabert? Where was he born?

More specific information is needed to do a lookup. The census
was taken every 10 years from 1790 to the present.
