Hi Gene,
I found Z.G. and Mary E. Talley in the 1880 census when they were in
Sumner Co., TN. This census entry (dated 7 June 1880) shows that Z.G.
was 35, a farmer, born in VA. Mary was 33, born in TE (which I assume is
Tennessee).
Ancestry does not have an index for the 1900 or 1910 censuses and this
is my primary resource. I did go through the 1910 KY Miracode Index but
did not find Zackary or Mary anywhere in KY in 1910. I used all the
spelling variations I could think of.
If you have a township in Allen Co., KY in 1900, I might be able to go
through the online images. Otherwise perhaps someone with access to
Heritage Quest or other census indices can help.
