The 1890 census was destroyed in 1921 by fire and water while in storage and
only some fragments
for some states survived, but KY is not one of them.

A wild card search in the 1900 index for Charl* Jones, b. 1888, + or - 2
yrs., black, shows the following
results:

Charley Jones, Bob, Lou (parents) Williamstown, Grant, Kentucky, b. Aug
1887 Kentucky Black Son

Charles Jones, Mary (parent), Magisterial District 6, Graves, Kentucky, b.
Apr 1886 Kentucky Black Son
Charly P Jones, Frank, Sallie (parents), Leesburg, Harrison, Kentucky, b.
Dec 1888 Kentucky Black Son

Charley Jones, George, Lizzie (parents), Kitchen, Hopkins, Kentucky, b. Oct
1889 Kentucky Black Son

Charley Jones, Samuel, Lucy (parents), Barbourville, Knox, Kentucky, b.
Jun 1886 Kentucky Black Son

Charles Jones, Thomas, Mary (parents) Richmond, Madison, Kentucky b. Aug
1887 Kentucky Black Son

Charles Jones, William, Fannie B (grandparents), Camp Branch, Spencer,
Kentucky, b. Jun 1889 Kentucky Black Grandson
