Old Gold Still Ahead
Mrs. Jacob Metz, of dover, took the premium at the
Germantown fair on the best yeast bread which was made
of "Old Gold." This is the second time she has gotten
the highest premium on brad made of this brand of
flour. The cake that took the first at the Latonia
fair at Covington was made of "Old Gold."

Died, near Orangeburg, Dec., 6, Mrs. Jennie Collins,
at advanced age of 99 years.
On Thursday afternoon, the 13th inst., at 3 o'clock in
Covington Mrs. Jane E. Wallice, relict of Col. Robert
Wallice, in the 83rd year of her age. (Typed as
spelled but micofilm is bad so it could be Wallace)
In this city., Monday, December 12, 1881, Louis
Golling, aged twenty-three years.
In this city., Sunday morning, December 11, 1881,
Bertie, daughter of James and Mary Hendrixson., aged
six years eleven months and eleven days.
