Relooking at Rutherford SISK (1820-1876) and Susan WILLIAMS (1819-1883) who
were married in 1839 in Hopkins Co. Attempting to determine the parents of
Susan WILLIAMS. Anyone researching this family?

Susan's parents were born in SC/NC or NC/NC. Susan herself is listed as
born in TN. I find James W. WILLIAMS and his wife Patience BAILEY(?)
as possible parents but they do not have a daughter in the 1820 Hopkins Co.,
KY, census. They DO have a daughter (in the 1830 census) born between
1820-1825.

In the 1840 census, Rutherford and Susan SISK are married and living very
near James W. WILLIAMS (if being on the same page of the census indicates
nearby proximity).

Rutherford and Susan have children:

Travis W. SISK b. 1842
Mary E. b. 1845
James Matt b. 1847
Sarah E. b 1849
Martha A. (or P.) b 1852
William M. b. 1854
Charles B. b 1857
Malissa A. b 1861

I welcome any help with the WILLIAMS family and this SISK family.

I descend from James Matt SISK above.
