Sorry, I don't have a Bailey Carter, nor a Lucy Brown in what I have of my
Carter/Brown lines so far. Here is a brief summary of my line:

John Carter*, born Sumner Co., TN, his wife was Jane Carter (not sure if
this is maiden name or married name), I have she was born Illinois.

Their child (only one I know of so far) John Lester Carter*, b. 9/16/1861,
Sumner County, TN; d 3/25/1946, Allen County, buried Hickory Hill.

John Lester Carter married (1) Cornelia Hodges b. 3/1/1863 and d. 9/25/1891;
and married (2) Eliza Anthony Miller

Children of John Lester and Cornelia Hodges are:
Bertha Wright Carter*, b. 10/21/1881; d.1/27/1956
Nana A. Carter, b. 9/12/1880; m. Willie L. Ballard
Nina G. Carter, b. 4/30/1886; d. 6/25/1905
Fannie Carter, b. 5/22/????; d. 3/6/1907, m. David R. Rutledge
Griffin L. Carter, b. 7/11/????

Virginia Ruth married my grandfather Richard Fowler. I hope this was
