Barbara Ingram asked if anyone had transcribed the 1900 and 1910 census
records for Bath and Montgomery counties. I certainly have not done so but do
have a question that would concern such a project. The microfilm copy of the
1910 census for Bath County that I have tried to read several times (the copy
in the Indiana State Library) is about 75% illegible. I assume the problem
lies with the fact that the ink on the original had badly faded; however
perhaps the problem is with the particular copy in question. Does anyone know
if there are more legible copies available?
