No, you aren't confused---I did not know if the JOHNSON, was her middle
name of her madien
name.
Do you know anything about her--parents ect.???

the only one that I found with a Mary was in Bath Co. 1850 Census .

I checked the Marriage Book for Jonathan and he married a NELLIE Yarbrough 8
Feb. 1844 in Bath Co. (so this Nellie might be the Millie)

There is also a marriage of John Johnson to Phoebe Hunt 1 March, 1827
married by Samuel Johnson in Bath County. This looks like it might be the
first marriage for Jonathan. If it is, this Phoebe Hunt is the daughter of
Reubin Hunt of Bath County who died 1825.

Let me know if this looks like the family names.
