Bear with us.
The map we have is a xerox copy of the 1884 Bethel Precinct No. 6 Bath
County, unknown what book taken from but is page 23, in upper left hand
corner has Bethel Precinct Business References.
I am in the process of getting a current map of the area and will overlay
this map, so can give a better reference points as to location of who lived
where.
Had request on A. ROGERS road marked 623 on map lived about 1/2 mile SW of
the Lick Branch right next door to School No. 33
Jas. W. FLETCHER road marked 496 NE out of South Sherbourne about 1 1/2
miles by the layout of the streams on the map about half way up the
mountain, ( I say mountain because all the streams spread out from one point
in all different directions) no other Fletchers shown on the map.
As you can see this may not help you pull out a current map of the area and
be able to tell where I am talking about. So if everyone will be patient I
will transpose the map over a current one so all will be able to have a
better perspective.
As for the Business References only 7 area listed on the page. The first
letters of the initials are distorted from the curve of the book when
copied. Are as follows
B?. TIPTON, Blacksmith, Repairing all kinds promptly attended to. Horse
shoeing a specialty.

R?. H. T. BELL, Physician and Surgeon. Office at Residence.

M. VANARSDELL, Dealer and Grower of Nursery Stock. A select variety of all
kinds of Fruit adapted to this locality. A Specialty Forge Farm Geniten
Apples. Address me at Bethel, Bath Co., Ky.

S. TRUMBO, Attorney-at Law, Will practice in the Courts of Bath and

Thats all for now please stay tuned.
Thanks Robert
