Since Bath Co. is a neighboring county to Rowan and several of the
cemeteries lie near the county line, I thought this announcement might
be of interest to this list.

The Rowan County, KY Historical Society is in its final stages of
surveying nearly 300 cemeteries in our county. Publication is next with
a possible 3-volume set of books or a CD in the works. Every cemetery
will be listed along with specific directions in finding each. For most,

a picture will be included as well as the GPS (Global Position) location

along with the names of the surveyors. A special feature will be an
all-name index to locate specific burials. Right now a list is being
compiled for those wishing to place an order for either the book set or
CD. No prices have been set yet so the order list is tentative until
further details are described. For more information contact me or the
