Hi Vivian. I really don't know if McCulley and McCollom or um or am would
be the same..... That is the trouble with McCollum, as it could be spelled
with an "am" or an "om" ...... What were the dates when your McCulley's
were in Bath County, Ky. ? My Cantrells were there between 1795 to around
1815 ...... Tnx. Sharon >>

Sharon,
My McCoullough/McCulloughs are in the 1820 Bath Co. KY census and that is
the only variation of the spelling.

Jonathan age 26-45

John age 45 and over

In 1830 there is one MCCULLER

Sarah age 40-50

[since she is listed as Head of Household there is another [I assume male in
the H/H same age.
Then there is 5 females living with her. I am assuming she is the widow of
one Jonathan or John McCullough but I have no proof.

We know there are McCulloughs and Var. spelling that were in Clark and
Montgomery county early and I think about 3 James McCullough's were there at
the same time.

One John McCuller married Sally/SARAH? Staten 21 Jan 1813 I believe this to
be the same as Sarah head of household in 1830?

One Peter McCollough married Louvina Meris?? 17 July, 1811 [Could that Meris
be Norris?]

My McCulley is Mahala b. ca. 1818 and married James Basford. Her Death
Certificate states her father was named Samuel McCulley but gives no mother.

By 1850 all the McCulleys seem to be gone from the area.....where???
Thanks,
Vivian
