Subject: [KYBATH] Kentucky Land Records - CD ROM On Sale
Date: Thu, 4 Oct 2001 17:34:12 EDT
Dear Kentucky Researchers,
I dearly love my CD-ROM called Kentucky Land records, 1774-1924. I have some
good news to share with you. Note the late date of some of these land
records--1924. If you have lost some of your early Virginians or some of
your North Carolinians, you might find them on one of these lists. (There
are a few Pennsylvanians, of course.)
Because of my CD-ROM, I no longer have to squint at the five volumes of
Willard Jillson for land records which list approximately 100,000
individuals. I even found on the CD my Michael Stoner of early Kentucky
fame--I hadn't found him before in the indexes of the Jillson published
volumes. The CD is very searchable.
Anyway, this is to notify that I got a catalog from Family Tree Maker
Magazine today of their CD-ROM sale. This CD ROM Item #00650, which
originally cost nearly $30 is now only about $12.
You might scan the catalog at ww.Genealogy.com/fall-sale.
This is not an ad, but I thought you would like to know of a bargain when you
see one.
This information is NOT in the subscription to Genealogy Library, in case you
are a subscriber to that online info.
