Hi,
Here are some names, places, census data on Leander's family.

Elizabeth Adams Cassity's parents, grandparents were in Bath County for
sure. Lewis Adams and his father Larkin ADAMS.

I have been unable to locate Leander's father. What I have is pasted below.
Any help or leads will be vastly appreciated.

The 1850 Morgan County, Kentucky Census lists Leander in the household of
ELIZABETH CASSITY. Elizabeth is listed as the "head of household". The name
of her Cassity husband has not been identified yet. The children listed,
including Leander, appear to be the children of Elizabeth.
"HH# 1164:
CASSITY, Elizabeth, age 43, born in KY
Leander, age 17, born in KY
Peter, age 16, born in KY
William, age 9, born in KY
John, age 6, born in KY"

Information from Leander and Elizabeth's son-in-law and grand children give
the name of Leander's wife as "Elizabeth Chambers" and "Elizabeth
Easterling". However, Kentucky marriage records show that LEANDER CASSITY
married ELIZABETH ADAMS on July 21, 1853 in Morgan County, Kentucky. It IS
possible that Leander's mother ELIZABETH was either a Chambers or an
Easterling, but yet nothing has been found to prove that.

ELIZABETH "LIZZIE" ADAMS was born ca 1830 in Bath County, Kentucky, the
daughter of LEWIS (LEWIS C.?) ADAMS and FRANCES "FANNIE" SMITH, born 1804
Floyd County, KY. Lewis was born 1806 Fort Lewis, Wilkes County, NC, the
son of LARKIN ADAMS, b. ca 1776 VA according to Lewis's marriage records.
Dorothy Griffin, in "Adams Families of Southeastern Kentucky" lists his
mother as "Christina". Christina is listed as the wife of Larkin Adams in
the 1850 Bath County, KY census, but it is not certain if she is the mother
of Lewis or not.

The 1854 Morgan County Birth Records show that "Seander" (a misspelling of
"Leander") Cassity" and "Elizabeth Adams" had a child on May 28, 1854, "no
name female". This is believed to be Martha Frances "Fannie" Cassity.

The 1860 Morgan County, Kentucky Census lists the family:
"Leander Cassity, age 28, born in KY
Elizabeth, 30, born in KY
Martha F., age 6, born in KY
Bruce, age 3, born in KY
Sarrah, age 7/12 (seven months), born in KY"

According to the 1870 Census, Leander and family were living in the village
of Martinsburg (present day "Sandy Hook"), Elliott County, Kentucky. The
1870 Elliott County Kentucky Census lists the family, in House Hold # 8,
thus:

By 1880 the family is back in Morgan County. The 1880 Census lists the
family:

Leander's daughter Mary Alice Cassity had married the previous year, in 1869
to A.J. Harris, so was not at home. The age of Fannie in this census agrees
with her birth in 1854 if census was taken before May 1870. Fannie is listed
BEFORE Bruce in the census, lending credence to her being older, even though
the ages listed do not support this. Perhaps the person who transcribed
Bruce's age as "27" instead of "23" did not clearly decipher the marks.

LEANDER "LEE" CASSITY (Elizabeth+ Unknown Cassity1), b. ca1832/1833, d. ca
1911; m. July 21, 1853 in Morgan Co., KY to ELIZABETH ADAMS (Lewis1,
Larkin2), b. ca 1830; d. February 01, 1912, Morgan Co., KY, buried Salyers
Cemetery, West Liberty, Morgan Co., KY. Their children are as follows:

1. MARTHA FRANCES "FANNIE" CASSITY, b. May 28, 1854 Morgan Co., KY, d.
October 31, 1941; m. HENRY LEWIS DYER, b. July 31, 1857, d. January 16,
