Hello,
Again, I am not related so far as I know. With the given name, I was able to locate a death record for you. Here that is:
HIGHTOWER, Ruby, died July 14, 1966; lived and died in Bell Co., KY; died at age 76 yrs, Vol. 30, Cert #14858
I then checked on Ancestry.com and with that information combined with the 1910 Fed. Census information, here is that family to the best I can see:

. Lydia, 25, "wife", b. KY (obviously a 2nd marriage at least)!!

BRAMMER, Lela, 26, daughter, b. TN
. Luther, age 7, b. KY
Then I located:

HIGHTOWER, Robert H., age 36, b. TN
. Lawry, 20, b. TN
NOTE; I think this is absolutely TOO coincidental to be anyone other than RUBY LAWRY who somehow got listed by her maiden name!!!)

. Clarence, not recorded, b. KY
Then I compared these entries to the 1910 transcribed Bell Co. Fed. Census which shows:

. Ethel, dau, 3
. Clarence, son, 14 mo's
NOTE: Probably Robert H. is 26 yrs. old vs. 36 shown on the Miracode which would most likely make him a son of Nice HIGHTOWER. And, the Lowsy on the transcribed Bell Co. is undoubtedly LAWRY and is Ruby LOWRY/LAWRY, the mother of your Laurence/Lawrence HIGHTOWER.
If I were you, I would be looking for the Nice and Robert HIGHTOWER in either Claiborne or Hancock or one of those nearby to Bell Co. Tennesse counties . And, most likely the listing for the 1880 ? county would show Nice's first wife who was the mother of Robert H. and others.
